COMPACTING BALERS FOR SCRAP METAL

The Balers are designed to reduce and compress metals from industrial plants or demolition waste and disposal sites.

Each compacting Baler for scrap metal consists of a mobile unit equipped with an unloading and lifting system, as well as a cabin and a bucket.

The Balers are built with a solid monolithic structure in special Weldox and Hardox steel, and work by either diesel or electric motors.

The Ariete Ecological Baler allows you to combine the capacity for powerful and strong compaction with ease of movement.

Thanks to the use of special high-performance steels, a solid structure with low weight is implemented, which allows for convenient transport by trucks equipped with a roll-on-off device.

The Ariete Ecological Baler can be equipped with its own loader for loading and unloading operations, and can also have remote control and automatic cycle devices. The Ariete Ecology Baler is specially designed for compressing:

  • Cars
  • Metals
  • Scrap metal.

The Bonfiglioli Balers are the ideal solution for processing metal waste. The company offers a wide range of high-quality solutions to meet the requirements of all its clients.

Bonfiglioli Balers have a high production output and are designed to offer low operating costs.

Ing. Bonfiglioli is renowned within the world market as a leading manufacturer of mobile equipment for recycling and processing scrap metal.

    Scrap metal balers

The Ariete Ing. Bonfiglioli press is designed to guarantee high performance in the treatment and volumetric reduction of metallic materials, adapting to different types of scrap and industrial contexts. Thanks to their robust structure and proven technical solutions, these machines are a benchmark in the scrap press or scrap compactor sector.

In particular, Bonfiglioli presses are capable of processing two broad categories of materials. The first includes bulk scrap metal, such as sheet metal, processing scraps, metal profiles, and ferrous or non-ferrous materials from industrial, craft, or demolition activities. This type of material is compacted efficiently, drastically reducing its bulk and facilitating the subsequent stages of storage, transport, and recycling.

The second category concerns more complex and bulky materials, such as car bodies.

A distinctive feature of these machines is the loading tank, which measures approximately 4.80 meters. This feature allows large quantities of material and large components to be processed easily, optimizing cycle times and the overall productivity of the plant.

The main advantage of volume reduction is related to transport. By compacting the metal material, the scrap takes up considerably less space than in its loose state. The bales produced by our presses measure 8.70 meters by 6.70 meters, making the load stable, safe, and perfectly compatible with the main industrial handling and transport systems.

The work cycle is fast and efficient: the loader inserts the scrap into the press, the door lowers, the material is pushed and compacted by a hydraulic piston, after which the door rises again and the final package comes out. The entire pressing cycle takes about 3 minutes, ensuring high productivity even in high-volume contexts.

Ariete balers are fully mobile. Unlike traditional fixed balers, these solutions are designed to offer maximum operational flexibility.

All Bonfiglioli balers are roll-off: they can operate directly on the ground and be moved and transported using a roll-on/roll-off system. This means that the baler can be loaded onto a truck and moved quickly and safely, without the need for complex operations or dedicated infrastructure.

Another feature that increases operational autonomy is the availability of scrap presses with diesel engines. This solution allows the machine to be used even in areas not served by the electricity grid, making it ideal for temporary operations, construction sites, or activities carried out at third-party sites.

Diesel-powered scrap balers are often the most versatile solution for those working in outdoor yards or areas not served by the electricity grid. In terms of consumption, diesel versions consume around 7 liters of fuel per hour and require simple routine maintenance, such as oil changes, which can easily be carried out independently.

The electric version allows operation in areas where there are restrictions on atmospheric emissions, maintaining the same performance with reduced noise levels.
